I mean, I am very satisfied with how the story’s going so far but also I hope the writers don’t put anything too ridiculous just to address the audience’s interests. That means:
- (I hate to say it but) kill major characters unexpectedly
- Avoid cliché plot twists
- Every character must have equal advantages and disadvantages (don’t make a character too powerful)
- No plot holes
What makes Game of Thrones so excruciatingly interesting is its unpredictableness. We never know who dies first and last, what fortunes and misfortunes land on characters, and how the story develops. Don’t take those away from us.
